Short-term lectures by visiting experts from the CENIT@EA network are part of our project. Right now, Dr Bernd Westphal from German Aerospace Center (DLR) holds a lecture for students of Embedded and Mobile Systems at NM-AIST. Dr Westphal is giving his lectures on Systems Engineering.
Dr Bernd Westphal is a Group Leader at the DLR Institute of Systems Engineering for Future Mobility. He will spend around two weeks at NM-AIST to teach students of the 4th cohort in his area of expertise.
About DLR Institute of Systems Engineering for Future Mobility
The DLR Institute of Systems Engineering for Future Mobility located in Oldenburg is researching methods for developing and assessment of automated and autonomous traffic systems. The focus is on the development of new efficient methods and tools of systems engineering for the proof of functionality (verification) and practicability (validation) as well as the further development of trustworthy systems. This is a major challenge for future generations of automated and autonomous transport systems.
The Institute is part of the German Aerospace Centre, the national center for aerospace, energy and transportation research of Germany.
