Call for Applications for Cohort 5: Deadline expired

On 15 November at midnight East African Time, the Call for Applications for the 5^th Cohort of EMoS students ended. All submitted applications are currently under review and the applicants will be updated about the progress and results in due time. Next semester beginn is in Januare 2023.

About the EMoS Master Programme

CENIT@EA offers a 2-year Master in Embedded and Mobile Systems that is geared towards the needs of the private and public sector in East Africa. The Master includes elements such as an internship, an applied Master thesis, Summer Schools, guest lecturers from the private and public sector, as well as Entrepreneurial and Soft Skills training. This enables the students to develop and marketize digital solutions, that are crucial for the transformation of industries and the development of the region.

Financial Support

For the first four cohorts of the EMoS programme, CENIT@EA provided scholarships for students. From the 5^th and next cohort onwards, these kind of scholarships will no longer be available as per the joint project plan. CENIT@EA is moving towards ever stronger local ownership and the development of financial support is part of this move. We encourage and support EMoS applicants to pursue alternative funding opportunities from public or private scholarships to employer funding.
