On Wednesday, 23 February 2002, Dr. Paul Ssemaluulu Mukasa, Senior Lecturer Faculty of Computing, Library and Information Science and Head of Department IT&CS at Kabale University in Uganda was the esteemed guest lecturer during the virtual EMoS Graduate Seminar at NM-AIST. Dr. Ssemaluulu gave the audience an overview of the history, components and potential of Embedded System. He concluded that nowadays, the role of Embedded Systems is a formal one, and that the technology has the chance to simplify evermore tasks.
Roughly once a month CENIT@EA welcomes an expert for a guest lecture during the Graduate Seminar of the Master Programme in Embedded and Mobile Systems. The experts can come from all different kinds of backgrounds: academia, industry, public sector or anything else. The topics of the lecture are likewise intended to cover a broad field. The guest lectures regularly trigger lively discussions and inspire.
About Kabale University in Uganda
Students at Kabale University from all parts of Uganda, and the neighbouring countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo (DRC) and South Sudan and currently number around 4,000. Kabale University offers short courses, undergraduate and graduate programmes as well as doctoral degrees.
