Digital Innovations for Business Resilience (DIBR) in the East African Community, a program under the dSkills@EA project aims to support young innovators at universities in the East African Community to develop and implement digital innovations for business resilience in the times of Covid-19. Students and recent graduates from East African universities can apply with a digital innovative idea to participate in practical training and the chance to win a shared grant of USD 10.000.
The next steps
The Call for Applications is open now and innovators can apply with their ideas until 21 February 2022. In March ten successful teams will attend physical bootcamps in each of the six EAC Member States that will close with a pitch event. The East Africa Grand Finale will take place virtually in April 2022. The USD 10.000 prize money will be split evenly between the team members.
