31 Scholarships Awarded for EMoS Programme at NM-AIST

The Centre of Excellence for ICT in East Africa-CENIT@EA is glad to inform that 31 scholarships were awarded to students of the East African Community (EAC). The awarded students were selected because of their quality, motivation, interest and concern to contribute to the EAC progress through the Master programme in Embedded and Mobile Systems (EMoS).

These students will be exposed to highly relevant curricula and content, resulting in improved competencies in these scarce skills. The programme will prepare them for their professional life by including different practical projects that address the local and regional development needs and challenges.  A multilateral team of academicians and professionals are involved in CENIT@EA to produce competitive qualified graduates in knowledge, research experience, and application of skills through internships in industry.

The CENIT@EA scholarship supports financially the student in order for her/him to concentrate in the EMoS study programme without worrying about tuition fees, accommodation, research assistance or a monthly allowance.

We congratulate the 31 scholarship holders and would like to welcome them into the CENIT@EA project!
